Description
“Sweetness” is the word that comes to mind when I look at this baby quilt. It takes me back to my Grandmother’s house with her beautiful floral wallpaper. Featured fabric has lacy ribbons of pink roses on a classic baby blue background. Center block is embroidered with a matching pink rose bud. Blocks are bordered in a white on white delicate rose leaf cotton quilting fabric. Trimmed with a coordinating light pink rose bud fabric and backed with a plush baby pink minky. This baby quilt is machine pieced, hand quilted and hand bound. Nothing is more special than a handmade quilt. Quilt measures approximately 33 1/2″ x 33 1/2″ and is the perfect take-along size. This item is ready to ship.
I make Quality “Handmade” baby quilts at affordable prices. These quilts have been machine & hand sewn just like my grandmother used to make. Hand quilting renders the quilt much softer than long arm quilting. If it was good enough for my Grandmother, it’s good enough for me. I will always treasure the memories of snuggling under one of her quilts. My quilts are constructed of cotton fabrics and cotton batting (Warm & Natural, Warm & White). I love this medium weight batting because it does not come apart after washing like many others. My quilts are always post washed, this gives me a chance to inspect them after 1st wash and eliminates any surprises for you. All of my products are made in a smoke-free environment. These quilts are made to be enjoyed by generations to come.
Machine wash in cold /warm water, reshape and lay flat to dry. If using dryer, use lowest setting and remove promptly. Use medium setting on iron if needed. Never iron minky backings. All products have been handmade so there may be slight variations. Colors may appear differently on your device, due to individual screen resolutions.
American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations on creating a safe sleep environment include:
Place the baby on his or her back on a firm sleep surface such as a crib or bassinet with a tight-fitting sheet.
Avoid use of soft bedding, including crib bumpers, blankets, pillows and soft toys. The crib should be bare.
Share a bedroom with parents, but not the same sleeping surface, preferably until the baby turns 1 but at least for the first six months. Room-sharing decreases the risk of SIDS by as much as 50 percent.
Avoid baby’s exposure to smoke, alcohol and illicit drugs.
Individual pattern placement may vary.
