This pattern has 2 ways of presenting the crochet sequence – pattern description by just describing each row followed by the pattern with description and pictures of the rows. This is to be helpful depending on your preferences. This lovely blanket is crochet by working the body first and then the border around.

By purchasing this pattern you will receive 2 files – one is with the detailed blanket description and the second is how to finish by using seamless join rather than slip stitch.

Materials

I used Drops Big Merino yarn for the pictured blanket, but feel free to use any yarn you like.

Crochet hook: 5mm

Size: 70 cm by 90 cm

Yarn: Drops Big Merino (yarn weight is Aran)
Number of balls: 11
Ball weight: 50g
Length: 75m

Stitch abbreviations
yo = yarn over
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
FPdc = front post double crochet
BPdc = back post double crochet

Note: adjust the hook size according to the yarn you are using. You could crochet small sample to check the length and height of it and adjust the number of the stitches according to the measurement you would like the blanket to be.
