Like lying in the clouds…and yet in this world. For little sleepers, this warm and soft blanket with a small hole pattern is knitted from the finest Mongolian cashmere. To ensure that the blanket stays stable in shape, it is crocheted all the way around and then crowned with another round of little mouse teeth.

Despite its lightness, this blanket is very warm and therefore ideal for cooler temperatures. I recommend it for autumn, winter and spring.

Due to its fine fibers, cashmere is considered to be a fine hair with very good heat retention properties and a low weight. Cashmere is one of the most valuable natural fibers and therefore also one of the most expensive.
The cashmere goats living in the high plateaus of Mongolia grow their particularly soft and warm undercoat in extreme climatic conditions. The annual wool yield per goat is around 200 g and is the reason for the high price of cashmere wool.

This wool is of a special quality. It has a fiber fineness of approx. 15.3 microns for optimal softness and a fiber length of approx. 40 mm for the least possible pilling.

Optionally, this blanket can be decorated with a name using the lace pattern technique. The photo with the name is knitted with a thinner cashmere wool.

Care instructions:
– washable, ideally hand wash cold with wool detergent
– Squeeze out the water (do not wring) and roll it in a towel to dry the blanket
– do not use fabric softener
